Keep dry and away from chemicals, cleaning agents, etc.
Handle as little as possible and with clean hands. Oil from skin effects metal
DO NOT bend, twist or overstretch
Pull springs from the ends (as shown)
Swivel hooks, snap hooks and foot straps must always hang free and clear to avoid disengagement and injury.
When in use, keep hair, clothing and skin away from spring. Avoid anything from becoming caught in coils.
Discontinue use when a split, gap or bend occurs in the spring coil or any other observable or audible distortion.
It is acceptable for the coils surrounding the swivel hook to open slightly–this is due to the way the spring is manufactured.
Check springs, snap hooks and screw eyes for any signs of wear bimonthly. Replace as needed.
Springs which are attached to equipment either in resting position or extended should clear all parts of the equipment.
Under no circumstances should the springs bend around or scrape/rub/abrade the equipment. Any such situation will damage the springs and deem them unsafe for use.
